This world was very much like Earth until all other life was extinguished with the coming of the seven Great Beasts, Kariooq, Tundra, Ranaq, Tolamaq, Somon, Kolomaq, and Sasquatch. The Great Beasts sought to come to Earth thereafter, but were driven back. In recent times, through the efforts of Snowbird and the rest of Alpha Flight, the Great Beasts were seemingly destroyed.
