Historical Data
Avalon, the Isle Mystic, stands between the Earth and the Dark Realm of the Fomor. In the 12th Century, a group of mystics sailed to Avalon and unwittingly opened a path for the Fomor to invade Earth. With the help of the Avengers, that path was closed, and Avalon has (presumably) remained uninhabited since that time. According to legend, King Arthur sleeps in Avalon, awaiting the time he shall rise to defend England once again.
