Harold H. Harold was a third-rate writer for the magazine True Vampire Stories who stumbled upon the injured Dracula. Hoping to interview Dracula, Harold stole blood to revive him, assisted by his co-worker Aurora Rabinowitz. Eventually, Harold ended up aiding Quincy Harker's team of vampire hunters against Dracula several times. This experience inspired Harold's novel, The Vampire Conspiracy, which eventually became a movie. Harold traced Dracula to Cleveland, where the vampire was impaled on a wooden fence by Howard the Duck. Dracula persuaded Harold to free him, but after Harold did so, Dracula bit him, turning Harold into a vampire. Harold went on to become a successful Hollywood producer, but he, like all other vampires, was destroyed when Doctor Strange cast the spell called the Montesi Formual.
