STRENGTH LEVEL: Anaconda possesses superhuman strength enabling her to lift (press) approximately 2 tons on land under optimal conditios. Using her strength to constrict rather than lift, Anaconda has a grip that cannot be broken by those whose strength exceed her own by factors up to 30.
KNOWN SUPERHUMAN POWERS: Anaconda possesses the ability to elongate her limbs, coil them around people or objects, and apply crushing constrictive force. The entire skeletal structure of her arms and legs has been replaced with artificial bones composed of an adamantium-alloy matrix, engineered in the basic configuration of a snake’s skeleton. Her arms, which normally measure approximately twenty-four inches from armpit to wrist, and her legs, which normally extend about thirty-five inches from hip to ankle, can elongate to roughly one and a half times their standard length. When extended, her muscle tissue engorges with blood, causing the limbs to swell dramatically until each resembles a massive, powerful serpent. Collectively, these four serpentine limbs can exert enough pressure to severely deform a steel tube one inch thick and two feet in diameter. Once Anaconda has fully wrapped a human-sized opponent, very few individuals possess the strength necessary to escape her grip.
Through surgical modification, Anaconda has also been equipped with artificial gills that allow her to extract oxygen from water. As a result, she can breathe indefinitely underwater while retaining the ability to breathe normally on land. Additionally, as a byproduct of the extensive bioengineering performed on her body, Anaconda possesses enhanced recuperative abilities, enabling her to recover from any nonfatal injury many times faster than an ordinary human.
