HISTORICAL DATA

An assault on New York City by Apocalypse’s Four Horsemen triggered a massive blackout, leaving much of Manhattan in chaos and convincing many residents that a nuclear war was underway. Amid the panic, a Vietnam War veteran calling himself Ammo declared that civilization was collapsing and that only the strongest would endure. Exploiting the blackout, he organized a gang, including a group known as the Wildboys, to loot food, fuel, weapons, and drugs, with the ultimate goal of seizing control of the city.

Daredevil, the Black Widow, and several fellow Vietnam veterans banded together to stop the gang’s rampage. Their efforts culminated in Daredevil personally defeating Ammo in combat. Ammo was taken into police custody, but he was later freed by the criminal Typhoid. Together, they orchestrated the release of the imprisoned Wildboys. Subsequently, Typhoid, Ammo, the Wildboys, Bullet, and Bushwacker joined forces to attack and overpower Daredevil. Ammo remains at large.

OTHER ABILITIES: Ammo is a highly formidable hand-to-hand combatant and is greatly skilled in the use of conventional firearms.
