Scourge's Victims

The mysterious vigilante known as Scourge recently committed a long series of killings of costumed criminals, climaxing in the mass murder of eighteen such criminals at the so-called "bar with no name" in Medina County, Ohio, one of a series of similar criminal meeting places. In each case Scourge wore a disguise, slew the victim with an explosive bullet from his gun, and shouted, "Justice is served!" upon his victim's death. This series of murders came to an end when Captain America overcame and unmasked Scourge, who was then himself slain by an unseen assailant who also shouted, "Justice is served!" It is possible that the man whom Captain America captured was not the real Scourge, or that, if he was indeed Scourge, then there is another Scourge as well. In fact, it is conceivable that Scourge is not one man but a series of many individuals. However, since the death of the Scourge whom Captain America captured, there have been no other known killings attributed to Scourge.
